When it comes to product quality, the name of Cambridge Dictionary speaks for itself. Here you can see how a word is translated in context, for example: interest/percent. The usual translators come up with a whole list of words, and the variety of translations blows your mind. So, it is better to turn to Cambridge Dictionary and not worry about the quality of the information.

Pros

  • You can listen to American and British pronunciation.

Cons

  • Often it is not possible to see the Russian translation, in which case the dictionary gives the definition in English.

The books on this site are a true salvation. They set the benchmark for mastering skills in any professional field.
Each topic has small texts for translation, audio and dialogue to them, as well as assignments to reinforce the material. After going through each topic, I form a bank of new words and arrange dictations.

Pros

  • The site provides access to professional books

Cons

  • Some of these series are not in the public domain, you have to order them.
  • There are no workbooks, and free downloads take an hour.

News in Levels is a great way to improve your vocabulary. Fresh news every day!

Pros

  • New words are highlighted in advance, you can choose a level to read the text.

Cons

  • I haven't noticed any obvious flaws yet. Sometimes the texts are too short.
