The Activities for Learners section has a large number of assignments that are suitable for independent work by adults/adolescents. I suggest using not just the word-translation, but also insert pictures and / or write the definition instead of the translation. Another option - in the right column, write sentences with a missing word you want to learn (put an underscore instead), the word itself is written in the left column. On the Internet you can find many tutorials on how to use Quizlet.
Free version is good enough, but the main advantage of the paid version - the ability to track the progress of the class, and add your own pictures and audio to the words. There are many head sets, but I suggest creating your own and getting creative with the process.
Don't forget to check the settings in each game and be sure to try playing Quizlet Live if you work in a group!

The site is valuable primarily for interactive grammar exercises rather than explanations of grammar. The theory is beautifully designed, but presented in English, which is not suitable for all students. There are 5-15 self-test assignments for each of the major grammar topics, depending on the length of the topic. Very helpful for those students who need extra practice with opening brackets. The level of assignments is from A1 to B1.

The site has a huge number of audio and video lessons on vocabulary and grammar topics. Each lesson has a script (audio recording text), and some have assignments. My favorite section is the video lessons where students from different countries answer questions about everyday life. It's a great way to practice listening to completely different accents. Unfortunately, the site navigation is awkward, so you have to manually search for videos to watch on a particular topic for a long time.
